They punch him, nab him, take off his shoes and coat in the cold weather, stomp and ruin his coat, throw his shoes far away, leave him dirty and beaten up coughing in an alley, and he's supposed to be all, "GEe, thanks, guys, for ruining my day so now my I have to walk in my socks in the cold."
