Tbh, its not about jaekyung anymore or dan anymore, but them together. Jaekyung only destroys dan. No way his existence could suddenly make Dan's life hve meaning, if more.. he's like the personification of Dan's suffering. Dan could never be happy as long as Jaekyung is in his life.
