Oh Dear Me

It may not be an unhealthy relationship. We see in yaoi all the time girls who are broken up with and refuse to leave their ex alone. They always find some excuse to come around. And then when the partner was straight there is fear and worry on the part of the gay partner that because they were initially straight they'll leave them thinking the relationship was a mistake. This usually leads to miscommunication on the part of the one who is insecure, and because of his insecurities he doesn't ask questions because he fears the answer and the possible end of the relationship. The seme is serious about the uke you can see that plainly, I think the seme alreasy ended the relationship with the gf, he's too blunt and serious to play around unnecessarily like that.

There's a point where the seme gets a call (when he and the uke have just been together) and tells the caller that he's still at work, a lie. After which he tells the uke he has to go home. This leads the uke to assume he has a girlfriend. Whether or not the uke is correct about this, the seme still told a lie to someone about where he was for some reason. What I don't get is if it ISN'T a girlfriend, why lie about being at work? Why not just say he's with a friend? I assume since he's an adult he's allowed to spend his free time with what friends he wants, and whoever was calling wasn't psychic or had x-ray vision that can see for miles.

And I have to admit I haven't seen much evidence that the seme is "serious" or "plainly" cares for the uke. He openly admitted to being a sex friend with the actress, and until now he hasn't said or done anything to put the relationship with the uke beyond that footing. So why should the uke think he's any different from the actress? That he enjoys the sex with the uke more?
