Exactly. Also the story is indicating that some of them are sold underage and those that aren't, they just get groomed to become sex slaves. It's disturbing and i wish that as a setting it was presented as something fucked up not justified. For this, i've lost all of the respect i may have had for the author.
In these slavery fics there’s always a section where the author has to defend the premise and it’s always “these guys are orphans and we vet everyone” and like, there is no defensive for sex slavery, we are actively ignoring it in the story and dont want it in real life. You defending it makes is look like you think there are real world cases it’s okay. Stop, plz just ignore it you’re making it worse. Also, they don’t be vetting bitches, the ml wasn’t this loving guy to his partners before meeting the mc let’s be real.
