Sadly can't really agree with that. Maybe it its the danmei I read where the pairs fight fate and everything in existence for the other but that kind of love can't be replaced. And I enjoy yaoi for that.
It's not only yaoi, straight love stories are the same, and they are a fantasy for that. You won't love only one person in your life, you'll date and love many people and always on different ways, there are not 2 loves that will feel the same so this story is quite realistic. Anyone who dated knows this. And there will be one that will mark you forever "the one", Jin was that for Silon but she passed at such a young age. Silon was in his 20s, was he supposed to cry for the love of his life forever? He is trying to move on with Jun, Silon is falling for him already and their love will be one of a kind and very different of the love Silon had with Jin. Jun's love of his life may be Silon, maybe Jin was meant to pass so Jun could find his love. In the end, there is love after love, you will not love only one person in your life but it is a nice thought.
They were truly in love and were soulmates if there is such a thing, they were perfect for each other. Silon brought Jun back to life cause he looks like the love of his life, and cause he's Jin's brother, she wouldn't want her little brother to die at such a young age. In the process they both ended up catching feelings. They are both broken, Jun terminated itself cause he was broken inside and depressed, Silon is consumed by guilt cause he couldn't save Jin and had to let go of his child, his only reason to stay alive. Honestly I think this is not a story about finding the love of your life and being happily ever after, it's about two broken individuals that are trying to figure out how to heal and how they catch feelings in the process. I like this kind of story, it shows it is possible to fall in love again after losing the love of your life, it will never feel the same way cause it is a different love, but it is love too.
