Especially guys like Senzakin, I love those characters. I'd be a mad dog too, but less insane lol These stories are great because the cruelty is unhidden. If this were one of the subtle abusive plots, I think it wouldnt be anywhere as interesting. How powerlessness corrupts, and how petty minds bend to the will of those above them. Its so satisfying.
