not sure if its common to another country but asians country we have this thing call paylater. like u buy something and use any 3rd party app to pay them later monthly. some apps need upfront payment but they charge probably 50% or less of your bills. and i think his mother only block the credit cards but not his debit.. is another assumption can be made. so yeah.. this is just my guess

Idk what kind of money he has in his bank accs but it's eventually gonna run out esp with his reckless expenditure. Same goes with him using paylater. he's got some nerve spending like that in either cases with no source of income
