Heonjae was remembering his feelings and memories of the teacher he ended up chopping the legs off of, all while looking at the CPR dummy's body which only had a torso.
So the scary part about Heonjae replacing that half-bodied dummy with the image of Myeong-il in it's place is the POSSIBLE foreshadow to what will end up happening to Myeong-il in the future.
THAT'S what makes the scene creepy.

Right... imagining the armless, bottomless CPR dummy as a passed out Myeongil isn't creepy at all. You don't remember him wanting to cut MC's skin off? It's okay for people to be creeped out by it, that's the point.
No it's not, there is nothing inherently creepy about imagine your crush especially while you are kissing a thing (like balloon or a pillow). Im not saying that heonjae is not creepy I'm just saying that people made a big deal out of this secen and it's not as creepy as the hype made it to be.
Im hoping that's it's not a "possible" foreshadowing cuz I want my impossible happy 3p
Considering he chopped off the legs of the last person he liked and the author deliberately drew Heonjae getting even more anxious & triggered around a limbless dummy after his crimes were brought up around Myeong-Il I think thats shows that it’s clearly supposed to be creepy and unnerving that he imagined the dummy as Myeong-Il while kissing it because he himself saw a comparison with the cpr dummy and his previous crush… I’m confused how you can’t recognize this
Im not saying that this is not creepy I'm just saying people were hyping up this secen so much I was expecting something more. But all I got was a grownass man blushing, giving cpr while imaging his crush as he realised his feelings

I don't know why people made such a fuzz about Heonjae imagine Mc as a cpr dummy. To me rather than being creepy it just showed how heonjae wants to be closer to MC and how he has truly fallen for mc.
I also need to know till how much time are they going to ignore jingi. It's honestly so sad.
Anyways I don't want the ending if it isn't 3p
