I completely understand you! I lovvvvveed this story from the start, but that was just super disappointing and hurtful!
he’s a piece of shit for doing it but it was intentional on his part. he was trying to make mc hate him so he could leave and not have mc miss or follow him for mc’s protection i believe(bc ml is a fucked up criminal). but mc already knew what he was doing so while it was terrible he’s not nearly as traumatized by it as someone else would be.

I kinda understand... But he's fucking a mobster/loanshark, and even saw him killin someone, so at this point I think it's better to don't expect some sense of morality in this story.
