Agree, it seems that’s the only way to release him from all his pain. Even if they somehow get along again, just the thought of being with someone who killed your family and made your life a living hell will never be forgiven. This story should end up with the MC dying, that is a more plausible ending.

Just look at what the ML has been doing even after witnessing the MC breaking, raping a suicidal depressed person? Lol, he’s the worst. I don’t care if he’s in love or whatever ‘cause love is not enough to fix their relationship. A happy ending does not always end with couples getting back together haha
I feel like the only happy ending is giving this guy the sweet release of death.
