That’s honestly the authors choice, I also asked questions about it earlier because I was confused too, and everyone just told me that trauma is different for everyone, which I understand including the fact that MC still holds clear feelings for ML.
Also calling it dubcon would imply that it was a middle area between consent and no consent, which is wrong. MC gave no consent whatsoever, he was handcuffed, blinded, and raped, even while MC repeatedly said no and stop, ML did not stop. By definition that is literally rape/noncon.
You can go back to the season 1 finale chapters 21, 22, and 23 and check that in case you don’t remember fully.
