especially since (in my reading) the writing implies that mc actually was fond of and close-ish to taeshin despite saying the opposite. why else would he feel such loyalty to him, or guilt over his death, or feel he’s the only one who went to visit him at the funeral?
mc has self-destructive behavior probably stemming from his mother’s death, etc., and his perspective makes his fairly normal if detached behavior to relationships seem worse.
Yeah, I thought that the patience that MC had with Taeshin was amazing. Any normal person would try to distance themselves. I can’t imagine somebody calling at 3 in the morning just to rant about how their sex life is going, or spam my phone with messages until I picked up.
