dude yuu's also straight forward, did you see the anime? yuu's really blunt and isn't afraid to voice how he feels. he isn't that much of a tsundere too, he was just embarrassed that ijuuin kept on teasing him, anybody would be -_-
That's the thing in the anime he was straight-forward but now his character feels different. I hope they don't change him.
i feel like we never really got to know him, just as hatori's rival which kept us in the dark of his real personality/character. anime yuu had more screentime than novel yuu so it was kinda made up, not by nakamura herself so i guess that's why you guys feel this change is weird. not to mention that the baais aren't 100% made by her. so for all we know this yuu, the yuu that nakamura's writing and drawing could be the real yuu. the yuu she wants the readers to know? get what i mean?
Facts! They'll change the characters as time goes on and they'll evolve and grow. Hopefully they grow to be a couple that supports each other because they both got dealt bad hands initially.
Completely agree with you and on top of this is the fact that Shizu will get his heart broken and doesn't even stand a chance bc of his dark hair color, stern- stoice expressionless nature and bc he is a lowkey fan. It's disappointing they would've been a better pair and more interesting, but oh well it's over. Poor Shizu

Nahhh rather disappointed and disgusted. I adore Ijuuin and misa- I mean Yuu too much to want to see them in this forced shitty cliche relationship. They deserve better than this. And Shizu to get his poor heart broken.
I like Yuu he's cool and smart but ijuuin should have been paired with shizukuishi. Both yuu and ijuuin had their hearts broken so their pairing seems like they're trying to lick each other's wounds. Shizuikishi seems straight-forward and non-tsundere, ijuuin needs that. But the mangaka wrote what she thought was best a reader can only dream
