J wanted to pass on the same trauma Wald did by nurturing someone to surpass him and fall in love with him so he’d kill 2 birds with one stone; finally die by a worthy opponent he can be vulnerable with, and cause someone else to be ‘cursed’ with the ache of losing their main purpose in life of surpassing the mentor by dying and being out of reach from them.
Can you pls explain more? The scene when J dreamt of his haunted past with Walt. What does it mean when J said it is Walt's curse? And Why did J touch the hand of Walt caused Walt to vanish? J mentioned thag Walt "lie" in the bedroom, what was that mean?

I think this was a happy ending imo. M got what he wanted, but not in the way he wished. J got what he wanted. Everyone lived on and fuffilled what they wanted... except D tho... and others BUT STILL. I love the ending. it was kinda happy.
