Well I mean they weren’t with each other the entire 5 years, which is why he came back on the verge of corruption. He spent two years pining, loving, and sending gifts, then he found out MC was a dude, flipped out, and immediately got shipped out on a 3 year long mission.
Not denying he’s a piece of shit btw just saying if you’re going off the usually BL trope of “acts like a dick, regrets it, falls in love, grovels, is usually forgiven” it’s only been 26 chapters and he’s only been back for like 20 of them. It hasn’t been long enough (in the usual BL manga timeframe wise and just in general) for the “guilty and remorseful after a long time” part to come up or make sense.
I smelled it from a mile away, ML is a fucking trash. And please, don’t defend him in this comment, I ain’t reading that. The other comments that say that the ML is a piece of shit, and a hypocrite; a son of bitch woth no feelings of remorse made me make up my mind and drop the series. I ain’t stressing myself for nothing.
