the pacing is indeed slow so it’s understandable (I remember dropping this before around 50 chaps and the love triangle mess and my dislike towards xinlu werent helping) and only after reading all the novels did I become a fan. PASSION definitely is not everyone’s cup of tea since it’s dark romance and it focuses heavily on military/political shenanigans. Personally, the most interesting part in passion begins in seringe arc thats why im excited for S5
honestly idk how I survived reading up until this far when I’m not into these types of plots in the first place but they make the military aspects of their story so interesting that I couldn’t stop reading. taeui as an mc definitely helped too. he’s so silly and endearing without those traits taking away how strong and capable he is in the face of danger (aka ilay mostly lol)
ohh I could relate to you. I also adore Taeui so much despite being a magnet for trouble, hes strong yet kindhearted and I agree that hes endearing and silly. I also love Ilay x Tay’s dynamic, the development of their relationship is so good.
The military aspects are indeed interesting esp in the novels, it made me wonder about the author’s occupation or if they are even korean bc theyre so knowledgeable about the military/political stuff even of other countries. The political scheming is also entertaining

You're so true I like this story Especially Illay well ..he is HOT and every person having their own personality I especially like the line when Gable talk to Xinlu imitating Taeil way of talking, but my friend don't like the story at all and found it boring but ...hey did you know anything about the prince i forgot his name When i read the novel i think he like Jaeul(the mc brother i dont know the spelling) Did you know their story like did they meet each other later or they did not mention them yet? （￣へ￣）
haha it’s understandable if they dont like it, everyone has their own preference. But I think ppl who dont enjoy passion might like diaphonic symphonia and suite. I also prefer them over passion.
Ilay is really interesting and personally, I find his manhwa design the most attractive one. I also love how unhinged he is and how he’ll do anything for taeui.

I forgot the name of Jaeui’s lover but I think it’s Rahman. Sadly they dont have their own spin-off story like yuri x xinlu. He only appears in seringe arc and then in diasim (he’ll fight Ilay) and jaeui will only mention him in suite (when he asks Tay for relationship advice lol). Taeui actually hates Rahman as much as Ilay hates Jaeui
