Asami Tohjoh was the OG. Back when nobody outside Japan ever heard of Yaoi, back when just 1% of today's yaoi readers read yaoi.. there was Asami Tohjoh and BEAUTIFUL art and her guts.. Todays yaoi (Ogawa Chise, Harada, Yoneda Kou et.al) artists are polished thanks to artists like Asami Tohjoh, so yeah, be thankful of her work. :D R.I.P Dear Mangaka.
