A quick search of sociopathic traits results in:
Not understanding the difference between right and wrong.
+Not respecting the feelings and emotions of others.
+Constant lying or deception.
*Being callous.
Difficulty recognizing emotion (seems more with psychopaths if you look at a comparison)
+Manipulation.
*Arrogance.
+Violating the rights of others through dishonest actions.
+Impulsiveness.
Risk-taking.
+Difficulty appreciating the negative aspects of their behavior.
The plus indicates I think Ash has exhibited these behaviors. Psychopaths have a similar list but Ash does recognize Lyle's feelings, which I think is something in his favor. The asterisk is when I think it could apply to Ash but there is so much overlap, you could argue either way.

- When does Ash not respect others feeling or emotions?
- When does he constantly lie and decieve people?
- When does he manipulate others?
- When does he violate the rights of other through dishonest actions?
- The impulsiveness is true yeah I agree with that
- When does he have difficulty appreciating negative aspects of his personality? In the last chapter he literally spoke about how he was scared Lyle wouldn't accept him in marriage because he was so much weaker in everything then Lyle and causes difficult for him

I look at the whole span, though it's a typical pattern of behavior. He is very manipulative to Lyle emotionally and constantly pushes boundaries. He's not forthcoming with the truth or further information, making misunderstandings occur. He doesn't fully acknowledge that me pushes too hard to achieve his sexual desires. He'll apologize to Lyle but he'll do it over and over again.
