Oh to add on. You know how Chase is Josh's first love bc Chase was in a chocolate commercial dressed up as a girl? The new movie Chase is making, his character dresses up as a woman in one scene. Josh sees Chase dressed as a woman and is completely enamored (and so is every other male on set). Chase actually was embarrassed to have Josh see him, and didn't want him there. He was about to get upset until Josh tells Chase that he was his first love bc of the commercial. The changing point in their relationship is when Josh saved Chase from a pack of coyotes. The second time Josh saves Chase, it is after the two of them are in a relationship. Chase gets kidnapped. The kidnappers want to use Chase as a stud. However, Chase refuses to cooperate, so they slap his face. When Josh drops in to rescue him, he knocks everyone out. He goes to untie Chase when he notices the swelling and bruise on Chase's face. So he asks Chase to tell him who did that to him. Chase points to one of the kidnapper that knocked unconscious on the floor. Josh walks over, grabs the back of that person's head and smashes it against the wall repeatedly. No one gets to hurt Chase and leave a mark on that beautiful face. The other ppl are like wtf and scared of how violent Josh can get, but Chase is staring at Josh with hearts in his eyes.

Grayson became my favorite character, he is hilarious, so weird and crazy.^^ Others I know love him, too. And a lot of readers who wanted to see im suffer, fell for him. He dragged Dane along, they are like a comedic duo now.lol
But for the ones who wanted karma for him, Chase will only get closure if Grayson really understands that he hurt Chase with his way of helping and apologizes, and thanks to Dane he is learning emotions, but it's still a long way to go and I think he needs Dane for that. Since you read it you know about his problems with emotions,"helping" and some of how he was raised/how paranoid his father is, because if his own father.
The author wrote on twitter a few weeks ago, that Grayson's story was the first one she came up with when she started with omegaverse~10 years ago. So probably their characters are more fleshed out than her other characters.
What I love about this story is that Josh, despite being the omega, HE is the knight in shining armor to Chase. Chase actually is the damsel in distress. TWICE, Josh saves him. After the first time Josh saved him, Chase completely falls head over heels for Josh. Chase is the type to wake up, feeling Josh's side of the bed is empty, and immediately wakes up to go look for Josh. He goes looking for him like a lost puppy.
Chase goes from rebellious and insane to being very docile and obedient to Josh.
It's also very obvious Josh is the one that wears the pants in the relationship. At one point, when Chase punches Josh bc he thought Josh was cheating on him, Josh pins Chase to the bed, kisses the hell out of Chase until Chase calms down. He gets Chase to talk, and they clear up the misunderstanding. The person Chase saw Josh hug and talk affectionately with? His sister. Afterwards, Josh tells Chase if Chase ever misunderstands him again like this, Josh will punch him once and then completely disappear from his life. Due to this, after Chase finds out Josh is an omega and has a child, Chase is afraid to ask or say anything bc what if it's another misunderstanding? What if he accidentally says something and Josh takes it the wrong way and thinks Chase is accusing him of infidelity? Josh said he'd leave him. So Chase clamps up and ignores the obvious signs of Josh being an omega who already gave birth.
