It is an online game at the end of the day, more than half the women and men I play MMOs with play the opposite gender for their characters, so they have no reason to assume otherwise
It's unclear if they know. Based on real life though, most people assume you are the gender of your character and don't really gaf about you unless they are your close friend in game. As long as you aren't actively trying to catfish people, no one cares about gender.
Nah. I played a lot of Online game and nobody that is familiar with MMO would assume anyone gender based on the gender of their avatar. But like you said, nobody care about gender in the first place. ^^
