regarding how he got cured. So you know how he got a high fever? yea that killed off the virus.
Gurl.....I just said "I think" and "I can't guarantee" on if I'm right or wrong...I can't read Korean I only SAW what i SAW......so I can't confirm on how he was cured by itself and regarding the 'fever' you're talking about. May be true but that itself can't give a 100% guarantee to fight off the infection (bcoz if it was that easy, the others culd have been saved this way by creating 'fever' drugs)(￣∇￣").
That's y I only gave mah view on "may be he injected himself with vaccine he created to test it" because Our Doc. is quite....uh how shud i say....bold? Unfearing?....ugh idk but if uk uk

I read the novel and if I remember correctly the virus is weak to high temperature and the doctor have a natural high temperature so when he got infected his fever was very very high dangerous high so if the virus didn't killed him the fever would. He didn't inject himself the cure and not the major. Just a side effect of his weak body and the virus.

the Major didn't have the heart to kill the doctor and keep watching and praying, since he didn't turn immediately in an Adam like the others he also put a lot of ice to not let the fever be too high bc he clound die (major didn't know about the virus is weak for high temperature). He run multiple tests and when suddenly one of the test turn negative, he didn't believed and keep testing so the doctor wakes up... and the end of spoiler, bc for the sake of the mystery hehehe.
In the next chapter we'll see that our dear Doc. gets bitten by a Adam (from the cellar he was staying in....I have my doubts that it's the wrk of the higher ups for a soldier to be infected and turned into an Adam under the jurisdiction of Major kwak)
Right after he gets bitten, Major Kwak comes to the rescue but...... His already infected;(......Major Kwak used many test of his blood (dang the test material looks like pregnancy thingull know what I mean in the next chapters) I think Major Kwak took more than 50 test object to test his blood and it all showed POSITIVE of being infected :(((((.
But luckily in the next round of test.... suddenly out of nowhere the next test turned out to be NEGATIVE and so his out of danger from being turning into an Adam.
(I also think that Doc. infected himself the vaccine he created that's how he was saved but can't guarantee since I don't knw Korean)
