I get what you mean... with most actor/idol comics we can see what kind of person they are... they have a definite trait we can identify... being a nice guy, being cool but inwardly a wreck... but this mc... despite he being a hypocrite at times... I can't get a feel for his personality... so it feels kinda weird... but idk... it's interesting seeing an mc that's not inherently good or pitiful for a change...

Just started reading the novel and there’s a bunch of emotional stuff that hasn’t made it to the comic. Like when he’s having dinner with his friend in ch 2 or 3? There’s a bit about him wanting revenge against the people who treated him poorly after getting famous, but that he was trying to hold it in because he didn’t want to be like them, that it was like sharp thorns inside him

Read up to ch 106 in the novel, unfortunately scenes have also been swapped that note make this make less sense. In the novel he meets a famous actor who treats everyone well before the lead in Youth Train starts acting up and delays shooting for over an hour due to new lines, and that’s why he says so much. Instead this order of events (film delay, then meeting famous actor) makes him seem way more petty
I wonder if it’s the translation or maybe just not written well, but the MC feels really off. It’s hard to pinpoint, but he feels hypocritical.
Maybe we need more explanations of his thought process and how he feels afterwards behind certain actions. If not he feel kinda like the same assholes he looks down on.
For example the scene where someone did something he did in the past, and he said the same thing to her that the asshole did to him. Like it just feels nasty. Maybe if he elaborated more… but the way he acts and his facial expression while it being something the people he looks down on would do… it’s something else.
