It's the main story that problematic or something? I was planning to read it to understand this but from some comments, there's seems to be incest or some dubious content?
Its not problematic it's just traumatic. Has a lot of scenes that can put you off if you don't have a strong stomach
That and tons and tons of rape. It’s like never ending. You think it’s calm and then the next, they sprinkle in a new rape scene. It’s the kind of amount you’d expect from a story that is a forced gangbang smut. (The ML isn’t an exception, but lots of fans tend to ignore it and deny it)
Oh wow. Personally, I don't mind dark themes in a story, with proper narrative and conclusion, but PB seems a bit too much right now. It didn't looked like that in all those edits I saw. The denial is strong in this one.

i really hope I don’t have to have read pearl boy to understand all of this. Like, I hope what happened in the main story plot won’t be TOO focused on in here :,) surely.
