I think he has no ill feeling to the baby but the novel doesn’t specifically say his motherly feeling toward the baby. He just accepted that he has a child so he can’t leave Zigril now and he used the baby as an excuse to not have sex with Zigril after birth for 4-5 months which made Zigril annoyed with the baby’s existence. It’s sad that Zigril doesn’t even like the baby as well cuz he takes after himself instead of Kay. He just used the pregnancy to prevent Kay ever leaving.
Just read the novel and omg… the story is about to finish I would guess maybe 3 more chapters.
SPOILER!!!!! SPOILER!!!
Kay never actually mentioned he loved or even liked Z. Kinda understandable but it’s sad on both parts. He just accepted the fact that he can’t escape Z and he’s not very found of the baby as well as far as my understanding. I just hope he grows found of Z as they spend more time together.
The last ch of the novel was about Schumann and his… half-brother. Yep. I’m mortified. His half-brother basically asked him to spend the night with him in exchange for money cuz he’ll do anything for it. And he did. I’m still shocked it’s just morally so so wrong.
I just feel really unsatisfied with the ending… I really liked the plot but it could’ve been so much better without all the since Kay was already found of him. I’m seriously concerned about Korean writers mental health atp cuz most of the adaptation are really really morally wrong.
