i think i agree with you, i honestly started reading this cos i saw a nice seth x horus fanart but while i once i was reading it i was kinda confused on where the romance aspect would come into play. i think seth and horus are cute cos of horus’s sweet personality but i def think the romance between them is a bit weak and there is a lack of chemistry. mbe im also a bit biased by the fact horus keeps calling seth ‘uncle’ i thought he would stop after their sexy time in the desert temple and seth told horus to call him his name and i think that would have been a good time to establish their relationship beyond their familial ties but idk i think its just a bit offputting for me ;-; i initially thought the foreign god was just there as comedic relief but he honestly uplifts the story esp in this arc where its not as dark and angsty as the rest of the story. in terms of his relationship with seth, imo i dont think i could see them two getting together even with that one chapter (i didnt think it was thaaaat bad ><) but i can see why they would be a good ship. i think a part of y i dont see them becoming a couple is that their relationship rn is pretty surface level compared to that of ig seth and horus but honestly in the end for me im sticking around for the main plotline and for seth to be happy, the romance for me just seems a bit lacking and i think this story could have been great even without it.

If we are being honest, I think the author keeps the foreign god around because Seth and Horus are boring together and without the foreign god the story would be boring because he brings comedic relief to the story. There's a reason why the foreign god is always in every chapter. If the author really wanted to she could have made the foreign god be like Anbius where Anbius comes and goes in the story. But she added the foreign god in every chapter because she know without him and it just be Horus and Seth the story would be boring because they lack chemsity. The main couple is boring and they added a third character/ made the story into a trio adventure to make it interesting when it should have been more focused on Seth and Horus. I am not saying the story is boring but there is a reason why the foreign god is in every chapter.
Yeah, Seth and the foriegn god would be so fun together. Could you imagine Seth and the foreign god flirting it would blow Horus and Seth flirting out the water. The foreign god is handsome, sexy ,funny, cool he so many things that Horus lacks. Plus I think he is Zesus so he like the king of all god in Greece. Sometime Horus comes across as a teacher pet instead of Seth's lover. While the foriegn god could actually be Seth's lover.

Id have to disagree. Seth is pretty obvious with how he dislikes the foreign god. Also, the dude raped seth out of his own free will and would likely do it again if he could. He wants seth as a weak, pretty slave and thats about it.

Sometimes I feel like the author added the one chapter with Seth and the forgein god to make people not want them to be together. Because that's the only reason why people would not want them to be together. Because to me Seth and the foriegn god have better chemistry than Horus x Seth. Plus the foreign god is funny while Horus is boring. I feel like Seth and foreign god would be so much fun together but maybe the author throw that chapter in there because she wrote Horus x Seth as the main couple from the beginning and they lack chemistry she had to throw something in to stop people from liking Seth x foreign god more. To the foreign god is just as protective of Seth as Horus, he also takes care of Seth plus he is funny. Low key if it wasn't for that one chapter the foriegn god would be a better match. Can y'all imagine Seth's god of war humor and the foreign god's humor together they would be so fun together. I feel like that's the reason why the author did that. Because sometimes Horus x Seth lack chemistry and it still feels one sided. Sometimes Horus is gving 110% to Seth while Seth only gives Horus dust. ALso Seth has stated to open up to the foreign god too. Horus is sweet but I feel like story would be so much funnier /better if she just stop with the forced Horus x Seth and then went with more natural Seth and the foreign god. Sometimes I feel like Horus is too sweet/nice for someone like Seth like Horus deserves someone who treats him 110% just like Horus treats Seth. To me Horus deserves better. I feel like if the author didn't add that one chapter more people would like Seth x and foreign god better/more. I feel like she purposely added that chapter for that reason.
