Honestly I get what you mean... Claude was... peak trash... and I'm not saying the father here is good but... I kinda do think he's at least better than Claude... because he's not taking as long to change... and mc is not needing to cater to his whims, humble herself and yk... beg for his affection...

At the end of the day, no good art can save the asshole even if he looks Hella good. I remember hating Claude with my body and soul when 'Who made me a princess came out'. It frustrated me so bad that I had to drop it and never picked it up again. I just read the spoilers here and there to see how my baby daughter ends up
