Brah this argument is cheeks, wtf happened while I was away?? Anyways I’m not gonna call you a xenophobe but my whole point was that saying Japanese stuff is more cultured/nuanced/deep than other Asian works is very tone deaf and at the very least rooted in a form of xenophobia. You probably didn’t mean it that way but the implication of these words is still insidious. It’s like saying that you dislike rap music and prefer Ed Sheeran or smth because his music has culture and isn’t about fucking. The first part is a preference: a totally normal thing to have. And the second part is a massive generalization that has very negative implications. I love Japanese and Korean works equally but in the end I don’t think the Japanese have some kind of secret sauce they’re adding to their works that makes them intellectually superior.
Nah this is the end of Korean stories. Most of manhwas contains rape, abuse, Stockholm, and even killings. Like literally, all of the well known manhwas consists either two or more of these genres. Idk why kr authors are somewhat obsessed with ts bruh.
Jp mangas are have more depth, emotions, cultures, understandings, etc. sometimes they have psychological and messed up stories but it's still good unlike this manhwa
