I haven't read/seen any spoiler but I highly doubt the ml will try the shit he did in hs after seeing how it ended with the mc, he's def gonna try to be more manipulative and secretive behind the scenes (or possibly try to actually be better but that's a pipe dream) and the mc is not submissive depsite what the recent chapter is showing, we have to remember that the mc is incredibly lonely, of course even when he knows better, to run away, to never get involved with that man again, his desperate need for someone, for comfort, for love, is going to make his resolve waver heavily around the ml. Doesn't mean he's gonna take shit from him tho
i did read the spoilers but my analysis was based off jiwans thoughts/new ideas due to his initial plan not working. as well as how i think mc finds strong comfort in ml, despite the pain he suffered
i agree he will be more manipulative/secretive behind the scenes like before, but this time he’ll do anything to keep it a secret and is probably relishing in the fact mc hasn’t gotten close to anyone- so it’ll be even easier this time to create controllable scenarios
i don’t think mc’s as strong as we make him out to be- sure he left ml in the first place but ml was still dictating his life after. and as i mentioned before, has been miserable this entire time. with all this context, i genuinely believe he will put up with ml’s actions because the constant paranoia/anxiety is exhausting. what better way to quell his symptoms than to have the issue right by his side? it’s a relationship that’s a textbook example of abuse
even after they separated, he’s been purposefully isolating himself because he knows how insane ml is. this is extremely fucking tragic like this guy hasn’t been able to breathe comfortably, ever since that day. he’s malnourished, exhausted, and reclusive. his dreams and hopes have been crushed and nobody could’ve break down his walls in order to prevent this. im really wishing for the debt collector guy to save him, mc doesn’t have the strength or energy to get himself out of this toxicity
he’s accepting of ml, and comfortable in how badly he’s treated and it all stems from his shitty first crush
