I still think it's going to happen, a separation. But if they keep in contact via e-mail, texting, etc they should be fine.
separation is okay as long as they don't do that "I am breaking up because I love you." thing that happens a lot.
at that one moment where they were talking about him not coming over and such. I was so scared it would follow the normal trend of things like this in manga and have the one character break up with the other even when they are clearly in love to protect the other. I am so happy he came up with another way. So very very happy.
