Didn’t think of it like that but you do have a point. Her goal is to survive and by associating with Ricardo she is putting herself in danger. The more I think about it, it makes sense to break it off with him but it still feels incredibly dumb. Especially since she still has feelings for him so it’s giving “the original story must go on!” while she proceeds to do a whole 180 to her villainess story. But regardless, the story progression is unsatisfactory (to me). Sorry for yapping away.
