no its most definitely not normal and it shouldn't be normalized but this kind of bl is usually just for young woman to safely explore their interests, without hurting themselves or anyone else. most people who do read this kind of stuff acknowledge its bad and don't believe it's right in any way. for me personally i dont even know what i like about it but i know its deplorable and disgusting. when i read bl i generally read it on these type of sites because i dont want to support the writer in any way shape or form.
