well yeah in that context you presented as well, there are people who believe that you're the same person even if you lose your memories and there are people who don't. I personally believe that your memories are what makes you who you are, not your body or your muscle memory. and if i were to wake up 10 years later and be told that i got hit by truck-kun, forgot everything and lived a life anew, got married to a man who loves me, but now only remember the memories from before truck-kun, it would feel like that man loves someone else, someone I don't know, someone that's not me. and sure, he could tell me we basically have the same personality or something, but it would still feel like I'm not entitled to that love and it would feel hella wrong accepting it. I think in our case the drama is not the nature part (zombie or nor) but the memory part. because yeah you're right the zombie is going more and more human ever since they met uke, but however human he becomes, he will still feel like a different person from the one uke loves. I mean he, seme, in seme's mind. Uke seems to be able to live both the dead version and the new version, he seems chill, he thinks of old and new seme as different versions of the same person. but to seme it seems like a deeper problem, he seems to see himself and old seme as two completely different people, and idk, I quite like the fact that the conflict is so emotional rather that physical.

Like they are different people and I think Tenyoh sees them as different, but they originate from the same point and that means Tenyoh feels the capacity to love them both. Kinda like how people say that soulmates will fall in love again in past and future lives. Tenyoh will always fall in love with him
