Not that easy dude if I was in the same position I would probably act the same way also he has a lot of trauma that led up to it and he basically was ignored every time it happened so it was even harder
Bullying is pretty rampant in Korea. Nobody ever does anything because the bullies usually have rich and powerful parents (in varying degrees) so the bullied ones are afraid to fight back. I mean like the MC for example, he can’t risk being kicked out in school if the bully’s parents come knocking. Or can’t lose his part time job if the bully ever tells on him to his aunt.

I can understand a little about the trauma somehow, I went through similar situation when my father died and we moved place and school. I have a classmate who's saying despicable things about my family, and can't keep her hands ho herself and keep touching my ears, taunting me. I grabbed her hand and bite off its wrist until it bleeds and then slammed her face on the chair. Though we were brought to the guidance councilor, that girl didn't stop and ambush me outside the school gate, she pulled my uniform until it ripped, so i pulled her ears until and she momentarily lost hearing... that happened when I was in 5th grade. From then on, no one dared to bully me again. What I'm saying is, people will treat you garbage, because you're letting theme.

As much as I despise the bullies, what i hate the most is the one who's letting himself get bullied without a fight and just trembles like an idiot. For goddamn sake, carry a dam weapon or even hot chili spray or pepper spray anything that can help yourself against those bastards. You can literally report them to the authorities, why letting yourself get bullied. whew!
