OMG you can’t say anything on here without being taken completely literally. OF COURSE I am capable and have proven (with once being committed pearl boy reader) to be able to read and enjoy a story that is toxic/has toxic arcs. That doesn’t mean that I seek out stories for enjoyment based off of said toxicity levels. So YES, I can still read a story not feigning for toxic shit but also continue to read it…and after finishing the fucking coaster ride of a story like pearl boy you’d want something a bit more fluffy anyways. I wasn’t NOT expecting but expressed how quickly the story has revealed its toxic nature. Thank you.
