Fr and snake didn’t deserve that. Like snake’s story imo was not finished, he still needs to have a real talk with OCiel and come to face about the truth and what happened in the circus. There’s still so much to explore about him as a character.
I mean I remember this theory that said that Snake might be a demon or half a demon, that’s why he was able to control and communicate with the snakes.

Snake already knows the full story about what happened at the circus and they did have a real talk but our Ciel still lied to him for obvious reasons. I think he died because Snake didn't want to pick sides, to Yana it was the end of his character so she killed him. It'll teach Doll and Our Ciel a lesson, Ciel needs to be careful about his decisions next time and Doll needs to stop being in denial about her and her family's sins.
Until now I refuse to accept that snakes dead trustt his alive!!!
