1) I didn't say that the majority is misogynistic, please stop projecting. I'm myself a fujo and I know we're not all misogynistic I already agreed with you on that their initial comment was crazy (very poorly worded) so no need to remain hostile which just alters the conversation 2) Fujos spaces tend to cultivate misogyny, wether BL fans are women or not has little to do with it. BL tend to sideline and vilify women, so BL readers take the habit of not empathizing with women hence hate them more. Many fujos don't bother thinking critically when it's a woman's action, they don't care about why she does what she does etc... so their initial comment was lacking. And your comment saying "you can't tell a woman they're being misogynistic" also is lacking.

I think she was being a friend friend tho. It's a specific dynamic, not some general "this is what friendship should be" model. She knows Arim's boundaries because she's such a good friend, and helped him get what he so desperately wanted. She's not really exposing his secret to a random stranger. It's the whole "confident friend helping shy socially anxious MC gets his crush", knowing someone so well that you can sometimes act on their behalf in risky ways because you know they want it but can't do it themselves. The manhwa exagerrated it all for drama and edginess bc it keeps the audience talking and engaged. Anyways it's smut so the characters are heightened and all a bit crazy. She's like the least weird of the three.

I don't think you know what projecting means but anyways that's what you made it seem like. Especially when the initial comment starts with "Yall hate woman" as a general statement. And most woman here aren't misogynistic simply because they don't like the actions of a certain character. I don't know why you decided to bring up the problem fujos and whatever argument you tried to make about them. It just doesn't make sense in the context that people are just mad at a bad decision. And you definitely worded your last statement horribly. And it's funny how you say you didn't say a certain thing but then butchering everything I said. Not once did I utter "You can't tell a woman they're being misogynistic" so let's re-read my comment again. I simply stated that the majority people who read this are woman who aren't misogynistic simply because they don't like a character's action.

You've put strong emphasis on gender: "mind you, the majority of people reading this are woman.", and the wording was off then if you didn't mean it as "don't tell women they're being misogynistic". Anyways, my point wasn't that everyone who dislikes her is a misogynist, but that there's heavy internalized misogyny in BL spaces that leads to female characters being hated disproportionately differently than a male one. And her action wasn't a bad decision by most standards 1) Arim got his crush 2) we got quick smut scenes. Her actions were just propelling the plot forward. Y'all dislike her, fairly, because you're projecting your own ideas of what "friendship" should look like onto this fictional situation. But Arim isn't you, and that girl isn't your friend so this isn't tailored to fit your preferences.

The wording was definitely not off, those are two completely different sentences with different meanings. Also, the action of telling your friend's secret without consulting them is not good in general. You're just not understanding, I fear. The people here just dislike the idea of someone telling their secret to some crush and she did exactly that. The plot is horrid and this is a smut BL, ain't nobody taking it that seriously. Everyone knows it's fictional by the way So bringing up misogynisy when actively knowing that the character made a questionable decision that many wouldn't like, that's also just used to move things along and cause activity is wicked work. But to each their own.

in this case, the problem wasnt her gender but rather her exposing the secret, if she were a man, pretty sure he would had gotten the same amount of hate, while i do agree misogyny is a prevalent problem in yaoi as women are usually potrayed as annoying people who get in between mlm relationships or ex that stir trouble for no reason,, this was not such a case.
you bringing 'misogyny' just to defend her, that oh you are a misogynyst if you hate her is dumb.
we are not projecting 'ideas of friendship' but rather aware that exposing a secret is shitty and that its not an idea but a standard for friendships. while I do agree her function in this story was to push forward the plot but that doesnt change the fact that her actions were bad.

literally its so juvenile LOL like its not that serious for people to keep saying she failed as a best friend and i truly feel like ML had a right to know! if you can look into my thoughts *AND* tell them to your friend, i have the right to know you can even do the shit in the first place! plus it was genuinely just the equivalent of your best friend telling your crush you like them idk why all these people are so fake mad LOLOLOL
yall hate women so much if she lied u guys would be upset she caused misunderstandings between them and if she tells the truth shes a bitch for outing his secrets
not like the author clearly just wanted a short story so it fits the plot to have her streamline their relationship but w/e
