Ashley Miller is still Ashley Miller (by the way, he hated his alpha father.:D) and his children are all Millers. His husband Koi (Connor) kept his surename Niles for work and not for standing out too much.
Chase hates is family. To get a full picture of what was going on, you actually need to read the extras of Ashley and Koi's story. And some is also in Grayson's story.
You won't really understand what was going on in that family by just reading Chase's story, because you won't understand why it was like this for Chase. Chase is one of 6 children and 4 of his siblings are extreme aphas who presented before they were 5 years old, one (or 2) when they were born. The alpha father is emotionless, because too much accumulated pheromones fried his brain in the past and only loves his partner Koi (who can's smell).
I can give you the nick names the press gave the Miller siblings: Satan (Nathaniel), Scoundrel (Grayson), Pervert (Stacy), Crazy Dog (Chase), Con Artist (Larien), and Poison Marshmellow (Bliss).:D

Not in this story, you will only get some informations. You will feel sorry and mad for Chase, but you won't really understand whats going on in that family. What's with his parents and the problem with Grayson (Grayson's story is actually the first she came up with, when she started with omegaverse, but it's only release now), they have their own stories (even his grandparents), and his two brothers will too. So most likely the author didn't want to spoil too much.
I mean you can read everything as a standalone, but those character who have their own stories, you'll only see the surface of those character in other stories.

The author writes (web)novels. For the Miller were 6 novels (for the males only) planned (3 completed, 1 in progress, 2 scheduled for this year, if it works out).
So far the grandparents story (darkest so far), the parents (are still getting extras) and Chase story are completed. Grayson's story with Dane is still in progress.
