the translations are bit behind, it’s in chapters 78 and 79 ( i read the raws as soon as it came out so it felt like a long time ago for me. My bad). I just double-checked though and it’s actually his older step-sister, the dad’s other family, don’t know when that happened but she lives in America and is visiting - it’s not really a spoiler since it’s just a quick mention, just a plot device to get sooyoung curious if jihwan is dating. sorry if it spoils anything for anyone.

In Korea cigarettes are hella taxed so if you pay by credit card the convenience store actually loses money paying taxes + credit card fees. so it’s good courtesy to pay by cash when you buy cigarettes.
