I felt the same way, but keep reading, they are both tsunderes.
I'd say to go for it, try to read at least the first 10 chapters - if you're still not feeling it, no need to force yourself to read.
I can also get turned off from that kind of stuff, but it didn't feel like that with this one - they're teenagers with some ego/issues, they're not malicious.
Yes, i usually ask if i m not sure so i can get motivated more.. i see some potential there
