Yes, exactly. Because most of the time you can then change the topic or leave the room or involve someone else...(I never tried it so, but most of the time I'm also not cornered.)
I love MC to be so unhinged....clever to fake pain. I heard when someone corners you verbally, it's best to sneeze so he wishes you whatever people wish you in your culture and gets a tissue out.
