Honestly, I love it. Too often in BL, the characters don’t really delve into understanding themselves and their sexuality. He’s going to fumble and make mistakes as he goes through these unexpected changes. I really love the characters in this series and how they’re written.
He’s literally only just found out he likes men, he’s in Korea, and he’s 40. Yes, I can agree that he is old enough to realize sending a text isn’t a sin. But this is such a relatable and raw feeling. He literally has to come to terms with himself all over again bcuz now his life is making drastic changes that he probably didn’t even consider could/would happen.
