I thought about this too and the only “logical” explanation to why they pulled out the dad’s permanent tooth could be that they did this to invoke fear into the father and the kids and to show them what the consequences and repercussions would be if there was even a minor scratch on him and that it could get a lot worse so it’s basically their manipulation technique as the controlling, psychotic abusers they are

Exactly why they did this! So that every time the father sees himself in the mirror or when his tongue moves around in his mouth, that missing tooth will serve as a constant reminder and warning to what will happen if he doesn’t constantly hover over Jaheon. Those manipulative fuckers, I hate them!
