And it doesn't HAVE to be that way, there are healthy guideverses out there (see Guiding Hazard for example, they have a whole protection system for guides), just like there are plenty of healthy omegaverses... I hate it when somebody criticizes the toxicity of some omegaverse/guideverse stories and some people criticize them in turn saying that "you should have expected it because it's this genre".
