I suddenly feel like Kian, the demon thingy, could be the Duke from previous life. He regretted his action so bad thst his spirit turned into demon and came to this world to give FL happiness. He waited until her death to give his current self punishment and give her freedom to choose his own man. I felt it because he has green eyes like the Duke.
