I suggest you read the novel. I know your frustration but i think its just really wonky adaptation. In the novel its hella more toxic lol, BUT it does give more context and depth to everything that makes it feel a less rapey and more dark twisted romance? The novel gives i hate you so i want you to live and suffer and love me.
It feels like I'm reading another story...like you had chances to steal him away...how did you survive that phase like I would never forgive you for making him feel that much powerless & humiliated ┻┻︵ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ︵┻┻ I'm all in for a good yandere ML...but you are not all in or all out just flapping around everywhere (-_- )
P.s: no hate to author or translator tho... I'm just venting my frustration at the characters.
