Yeah, some of you definitely shouldn't be reading this. No offense, a lot of you sound no older than 12 with these opinions. Not liking something ≠ bad

These characters are nuanced with layers, and nothing in this story is black and white. You guys can't stand Seheon because he doesn't immediately worship the ground Yunshin walks on. The fact that many of you with these opinions haven't even reached 20 chapters is really saying something. He's made it perfectly evident that he can be cunning, and admits that he could be an asshole because he's always strived for perfection.

If you actually read with your eyes open, even Yunshin himself began to see that Seheon isn't being strict just to give him a hard time, but to test if he's got what it takes to stay in the firm.

And Seheon did behave rudely to Yunshin, even coming to a point where it was borderline ridiculous. He did everything to push him away, but it was Yunshin's own decision to keep pursuing him despite his many warnings of how he is. He was never forced into anything, because it was Yunshin who developed feelings first.

The main lead is a narcissist and goes way to far way to often. He even SA'd him just to prove a point. So yeah, I think it's kinda bad.

Real, like you need a different level of understanding on reading this one. It's not like the other BL stories.

That was the point I was trying to make. Seheon could be manipulative and a narcissist (even Yunshin calls him so) and that's what you call a morally complex character. He makes some readers uncomfortable, but to say the story is bad because he's frustrating the readers... ☠

Throughout the story, you are provided with bits as to why he acts like that. From flashbacks, to how his friends view him and what he's like as a person. He started at the bottom and climbed his way to the top. He's like that because of his drive to survive in the past. He doesn't need to be likable so that people can call this well-written, it's how his character develops. And it's clear how far they've come.

People often seek the typical love story, maybe they can read other comics like that. The title is literally No Morals, and the trope is lawyer x lawyer. That should somehow give the hint that this is deeper and more complex than other stories.

I agree. The level of depth these two characters have is so good, it's been a while since I've read something that had me hooked and reread this much.
I especially like Seheon because he feels true. He's down to earth, strict, confident, a jerk... And he doesn't change when he's in love. Being in love just adds to his personality, it didn't change him at all. He will still be strict in Yunshin for his own good, because despite being in love he hasn't lost his rationality and sense of self. He pampers his lover in the right way, and I love that.

Since it got mentioned, the scene where he SA him to prove a point. That is a despicable move, but one so needed, because there's no better way to understand someone's feelings than wearing their same shoes.
He's always ready to do what's necessary, even if it means doing something shitty, and that is truly mature imo

I was literally calling that toxic stereotype out. The ML is exactly that. Even if the story is more nuanced, the bar is very, very low. That's why I called it a bad story. Because of that. What's not to understand?

My point is that he is the exact stereotype of a toxic main lead. He doesn't deserve the mc. Like most tops.

I really have a strong feeling that you've not read further enough, or that your understanding is very shallow. The bar is low? Seheon does not want to drop Yunshin from the firm despite the high risk of a scandal and loss of clients. Doguk is one of the largest firms, and he's also willing to leave it with Yunshin because he wants to protect him due to the possibility of him becoming a target in relation to his sister's case.

Anyway, I can't change your opinion if you really believe that. I think you need to sharpen your critical thinking.
