If you’ve been treated this way your entire life wishing for one tiny crumb of affection from your family and not get it you would still hope with all your heart that the people you grew up with would have a change of heart.
Would you automatically trust someone who says “I’ll love you for your entire life and no one else” upon meeting them?? If you do then that’s just asking for someone to exploit your affection and use it against you.
I for one don’t blame the FL for being cautious (to a fault) for not believing anyone other than her grandparents who says they love her upon just meeting each other.
As most mangas go it’s always misunderstanding after misunderstanding until they have proper communication I wish I had the skills and the ability to write a story similar to this where the FL explains to the ML what her life was like (other than the small conversation they did have) and explain how she feels and the like.
But that’s not what’s happening obviously lol so we have the story we have right now. I’m enjoying this so far and can’t wait to read more I just hope the conversation comes sooner rather than later.
Is it just me or the bride is a little annoying!!!! I mean I get it that she been through a lot but she still trust her sister to bring her things and still nice to those people all the while Reiya has been treating her like a queen and he is distrustful? What is wrong with her sense of trust??? She obviously know how much an ogre cares for their bride since her sister was a bride and so is her friend and she know they are bonded, but she doesn’t trust him really she suddenly forget the huge fact that literally they become obsessed with their bride. Her wavering attitude and her naive personality honestly gets on my nerve please tell me she grows some spine later and stop falling into trap set by other people because she stupid and naive, and that the only thing she could do all the time is cry pathetically every time so he can appear and save her only for her to say she doesn’t want to rely on him or burden him!!!! Then stop running around without you brain
What pisses me off more that a villain is a stupid naive FL that falls for every trap and trick because she is gullible and stupid, there is nice and there is stupidity please let her finally learn how to stand up for herself because the story is good if only she doesn’t stay this dumb
