I already remember actually that the girl in the siblings straight up asked her if the schuette comes back if the bearer dies, and kayla looks so unbothered by the question and she just answered it. I do have a feeling that they will betray kayla, im just not sure how.
She also showed feelings of envy because she said in the chapter that she ‘wished she had schuette’ or something same power as well

Given this ending, I bet the siblings r gonna attempt to take her life or something....
Also, this hints that possesing schuette & its shield counterpart doesn't make the bearers infallible......

I feel like theyre going to be so blinded by greed that they’re gonna forget that the only ones who can have schuette and the shield is the ones who are destined for it, cuz if you arent then its not gonna work out. Cuz in the original story, schuette didnt really work out for her brother like the shield with hers

...for me, Kayla's being too lenient & seemingly lacks urgency despite the heightening political tension... hopefully it's not gonna bite her in the ass later
