I mean I like that she did stop the count (and that she beat his azz, that was absolutely warranted). I would have loved If they mentioned that she is a married woman after all and has to be respectable. She said that she only acted mad around her fine ass husband, but is otherwise collected. It would make sense for her to adhere to the virtues of a wife, even if she doesn't like her very pretty man.
That would do some good to her characterization bc now it seems more like she is a spoiled rotten brat. Hopefully she and her gorgeous husband will be lovey-dovey now. That beautiful man deserves love and affection.

I mean if I woke up one day looking forward to marrying my loving fiancée of many years only to hear that the president promised to force me to marry some random soldier because he accomplished shit on the battlefield, I would also be pissed and maladjusted.
People seem to view her behavior outside the context that he deliberately destroyed her life and forced her to marry him against her will. Yeah, she is really aggressive, but she’s basically being held against her will with no possibility of leaving. Those feelings aren’t just going to evaporate.
He did what he did knowing it would separate her from her love, mess up her entire life, and create a lot of distress and resentment, so I don’t get why people are giving this guy medals for “enduring” the obvious consequences of his unilateral and premeditated actions without dishing out the same.
Also, the bar to earn her trust and affection was comically low. All she needed was a bare minimum confirmations that he had feelings for her and didn’t see her merely as an object to parade around. A less than 5 minute conversation that he apparently couldn’t build up to or hint at within the span of FOUR ENTIRE YEARS.
