Guys from the opinions if the ones who read the novel is it a happy ending for them? Also how do you think it'll be different.

No, not even close. No one’s happy by the end. Jiwook ends up living like a ‘pet,’ and Juyeon, despite hating him, stays obsessed and possessive. He continues to hurt and humiliate Jiwook all the way to the end. He’s not what people usually call a “black flag” character like Ilay from Passion or Caesar from Roses and Champagne. He never does anything for Jiwook’s comfort, not even in a twisted way. At most, he assaults him a little less aggressively at times, but that’s it. He’s truly irredeemable in every possible way. Honestly, this isn’t a story I think should’ve been adapted. There’s nothing to take away from it except how destructive revenge can be. I really hope they change the ending.

I read someone’s comment a whiiiiile back that said that the side stories get better? Like that Juyeon makes Jiwook start therapy and feels bad for what he did, etc., Jiwook starts recovering. Unsure how accurate it is but the one posted above is still being updated/has 9 more side story chapters to go.
